When Hell was empty
And Heaven rejoiced,
Satan wandered the land searching for souls.
He found murderers, thieves,
Politicians, and church-goers.
Prostitutes and socialites.
Anyone who denied God in life
Or denied God in death.
But his greatest discovery was among the living.
Men and women, who carried bombs and crashed planes,
All in the name of God.
These he could use.
These he would use.
Poisoning their faith with hatred,
He would attack the very heart of a Christian nation.
Annihilate his own enemy.
Or so he thought.
We turned to God in sorrow
And he comforted us.
We turn to God for vengeance
And He reminds,
“The victory is yours.
I have already won the battle.”
So, live the lives He has given
Do not fear.
Be slow to anger.
Judge first with your head,
Then with your heart.
Above all, my friends,
Have faith, for Heaven still rejoices,
And Hell will triumph no more.
